An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential duties:


Collecting products from the warehouse and safely loading onto trucks and vice versa
Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return
Helping keep an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
Answering calls, monitor emails, troubleshoot shipment issues, compile drivers' paperwork, and ensure customers are serviced in a timely manner
Plan schedules and dispatch drivers, monitor routes, and proactively plan to avoid delays
Coordinate with customers and drivers for timely pick-ups and deliveries
Coordinate logistics of daily workload for drivers.


 


Required Skills, Qualifications, & Experience


Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar field
1-2 years of dispatch experience preferred
Knowledge of operating a forklift
Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds
Ability to work independently and safely
Great verbal and written communication
