Job Type

Full-time

Description

Manufacturing QC Lab Analyst – Where Science Meets Impact!

(This is not an IT position)

Location: Red River Plant | Team: Manufacturing | Shift: Variable 12-hour shifts (includes nights, weekends & holidays)

Are you a lab lover with a passion for precision? Do you geek out over instruments, take pride in chasing down out-of-spec results, and find satisfaction in helping teams turn great into excellent? If you're nodding your head, read on — this just might be your next adventure.

At Arq, Inc., we’re redefining what’s possible in the environmental technology space. Our mission is to enable a cleaner and safer planet. And you? You’ll be the one making sure the science behind it all is spot on.

What You’ll Do

As our QC Lab Analyst, you won’t just run tests — you’ll own quality. You’ll be part of the team that ensures our raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products are nothing short of exceptional.

You’ll:

Conduct routine and special chemical & physical analyses (yes, that includes real chemistry!).

Keep our lab running smoothly — from instruments to sample inventory and lot tracking.

Be the hero who troubleshoots tricky instrumentation issues before they become big problems.

Create clear, compelling reports that make complex data easy to understand.

Collaborate with production and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement.

Handle hazardous materials (like H2S) safely and confidently — your commitment to safety is as strong as your science.

Help develop new testing methods and ensure all our equipment is calibrated and audit-ready.

What You Bring

Solid foundation in chemistry — think: titrations, chromatography, spectroscopy, or similar.

Experience working with analytical instrumentation and a love of troubleshooting.

Strong critical thinking and data interpretation skills.

A can-do attitude and ability to work independently (but also pitch in when teamwork is needed).

A passion for safety, quality, and process improvement.

The Fine Print

You’ll work with hazardous chemicals and gases — this role is hands-on and high-impact.

Shifts are 12 hours and may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility = key.

Benefits That Have Your Back

At Arq, we take care of our team — in and out of the lab. Our benefits package includes:

Medical, dental, and vision insurance

Company-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability

Company-paid Life and AD&D insurance

401(k) plan with a competitive employer match

Generous Paid Time Off — because recharging matters

Why Arq?

Because here, your work really matters. We’re on a mission to reduce waste, support cleaner air and water, and create high-performing carbon products. When you work with us, you’re helping solve real-world environmental challenges — one sample at a time.
