Position Summary:
Responsible for manufacturing feed in accordance with standard operating procedures established at the feed mill. This position will be responsible for operating the computer automation systems required to receive ingredients, grind grains, mix and pellet feed. Operate the processing equipment according to established standard operating procedures. In addition to feed manufacturing the operator will perform housekeeping activities, quality checks on feed and ingredients maintenance and repair of equipment. The lead person is also responsible for compliance with all company policies. Local, State and Federal policies, laws and regulations.

Will Be Responsible:

Operate the pelleting, grinding and batching equipment
Manufacture feed according to quality assurance policies and GMPs
Collect sample ingredients and perform quality assurance tests
Perform micro handling & housekeeping duties
Monitor equipment and processes reporting issues to management
Comply with company, local, start and federal laws regulations
Must be able to dispatch and receive in ingredients if needed

Additional Duties:

Must have good math skills
Require to load trucks with the correct feed, and use load out printer
Responsible for keeping the area clean
Must obtain Confined Space Certification
Must obtain forklift, and weigh master license

Able to read English and some computer knowledge
Must be able to pass a drug test

Education Requirements:
High school graduate or GED equivalent
