ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Northwestern State University College of Nursing and School of Allied Health seeks an applicant for a 12-month full-time faculty position for the Bachelor of Science Nursing degree programs in nursing available in any location served by NSU beginning fall semester 2024.

Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Review of applications will begin immediately. Position will remain open until filled.

Minimum Qualifications


Qualifications:  Applicants must be doctorally prepared and hold an unencumbered, Louisiana license as an RN or APRN. Teaching experience at the doctoral nursing level is preferred. Applicants must show evidence of ongoing scholarly activity, adeptness at online educational technology, and be eligible to serve as a member of Northwestern State University's Graduate Faculty. Must be willing to travel, pass a background check, and to meet the required standards defined by the University.
