Chamber Ambassadors are the front line of connection for the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce, serving as trusted partners who help strengthen relationships across the local business community. As dedicated volunteers, Ambassadors support the Chamber’s mission by enhancing member engagement and fostering meaningful connections alongside Chamber staff. Through their professionalism, enthusiasm, and commitment to service, Ambassadors contribute to a positive and connected Chamber experience.
What Does a Chamber Ambassador Do?
- Welcome and engage Chamber members
- Assist with Chamber events and initiatives
- Represent the Chamber in a professional, friendly, and reliable manner
- Help build meaningful connections within the local business community
Expectations & Commitment
We want Ambassadors to feel valued, prepared, and purposeful. These expectations help keep the program consistent, reliable, and impactful.
Monthly Meeting
Second Wednesday of every month • 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
NRMC – Legacy Room
Regular attendance is expected. Please notify Chamber staff if you’re unable to attend.
Communication Channel
The Outlook group is the official channel for meeting notices, event needs, and Ambassador updates.
Ambassadors are expected to be dependable and responsive to communications.
Signature Events Support
Ambassadors are expected to sign up to assist with Chamber signature events each year, including:
- Go Natchitoches Awards
- Work Natchitoches Summit
- Level Up Conference
- Thrive Gala
Ribbon Cuttings & Member Support
Attend ribbon cuttings when available to show support for new and growing members. Ambassadors may also assist with welcoming new members through packet and plaque drop-offs and photos.
Professional Standards
- Uphold the mission and values of the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce
- Represent the Chamber positively and professionally
- Be dependable and responsive
- Actively participate in meetings and assigned events
- Support Chamber staff and fellow Ambassadors as a team
