RoyOMartin Donates New Pre-K Playground to L.P. Vaughn Elementary

NATCHITOCHES - The Natchitoches Parish School Board is happy to announce that RoyOMartin has generously donated a brand new Pre-K playground to L.P. Vaughn Elementary School, set to be installed later this year.
This exciting addition will provide young learners with a safe, fun, and engaging outdoor space designed to encourage exploration, creativity, and healthy activity. The new playground will be tailored to meet the unique needs of Pre-K students, offering them opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, and physically in an environment built just for them.
RoyOMartin has a longstanding history of giving back to education, having donated playgrounds to schools in communities across Central and Southwest Louisiana, as well as East Texas. Their continued investment in education demonstrates a deep commitment to fostering strong community partnerships and ensuring that children across the region have access to safe and enriching learning environments.
In addition to programs like Wood Works, RoyOMartin's longstanding high school workforce initiative, the company continues to invest in ways that support children at every stage of learning. With the Chopin plant in Natchitoches Parish marking its 30th anniversary in 2026, this playground donation reflects not only a milestone of local roots but also a forward-looking commitment to the families and schools that shape the next generation.
Dr. Grant Eloi, Superintendent of Natchitoches Parish Schools, expressed his gratitude for the partnership, stating:

Principal Carissa Davis of L.P. Vaughn also shared excitement about the project, noting that the new playground will help create an even more welcome environment for students and families.
