NPSB Announces March 2025 School Board Meeting Updates

NATCHITOCHES, LOUSIANA - Natchitoches Parish School Board (NPSB) has announced important updates regarding its upcoming March 2025 meetings, including a change in location for the committee meeting and a scheduled town hall for community engagement.

Committee Meeting & Town Hall - Thursday, March 6, 2025
The NPSB Committee Meeting has been moved to Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Natchitoches Jr. High-Frankie Ray Jackson, instead of the usual location at the NPSB Central Office. Immediately following the committee meeting, at 6:00 PM, there will be a Town Hall Meeting to discuss a new district proposal that involves the re-branding of city schools. This is a critical opportunity for stakeholders, including parents, educators, and community members, to gain insights and ask questions regarding the proposal that will shape the district's future.

Board Meeting - Thursday, March 13, 2025
The March Board Meeting has been moved to Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM, and will take place at the NPSB Central Office as usual.

To ensure transparency and informed discussions, NPSB encourages community members to review the district proposal document prior to the meetings. The proposal document can be accessed here

A final decision on the district proposal will be determined by the end of March 2025. These March meetings are opportunities for the public to attend, listen, and provide feedback before a decision is made. NPSB urges all interested parties to participate and engage in these important discussions.
