Natchitoches Christmas Festival Parade Opens Registration for Participants

NATCHITOCHES, LA - September 17, 2025 - The Natchitoches Christmas Festival Committee is excited to announce that registration is now open for participants in the 2025 Natchitoches Christmas Festival Parade. This year marks the 99th year of the beloved Natchitoches Christmas Festival, and the parade will once again bring joy, lights, and festive cheer to the heart of Louisiana on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.

The Natchitoches Christmas Parade is one of the most anticipated holiday traditions in Louisiana, attracting thousands of spectators from across the region. Local businesses, schools, community organizations, and individuals are invited to take part by entering a float, vehicle, or marching group in this year's event.

"Each year, the parade grows more creative and more vibrant, showcasing the incredible spirit of our community," said HDBA President Sandra Dickens. "As we prepare to celebrate the 99th year of the Natchitoches Christmas Festival, we encourage participants to bring their very best holiday spirit to the streets of downtown Natchitoches."

How to Participate:
Applications to participate in the parade are available online at www.NatchitochesChristnas.com/parade-entry-form. The deadline to apply is Friday, November 14, 2025. All participants are asked to embrace the holiday spirit with festive decorations, costumes, music, and performances, while adhering to the parade's standards of excellence.
