DeAndrea Sanders Named 2026 Ambassador Chair for Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce

Natchitoches, LA, February 14, 2026: The Ambassadors, an initiative under the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce DeAndrea Sanders as the 2026 Ambassador Chair. Sanders, a committed member of the Natchitoches community, brings a wealth of leadership experience and a deep-rooted passion for service and community engagement to her new role.
Sanders moved to Natchitoches in 2011 to attend Northwestern State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2015. During her time at NSU, she served in several student leadership roles, including Student Government Association Treasurer and Helping Hands President. These early leadership experiences helped shape the foundation for her continued service and professional growth within the community.
With a background centered on youth development, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement, Sanders currently serves as Unit Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana in Natchitoches. Throughout her career, she has led and developed programs that expand opportunities for young people and strengthen partnerships within the community. Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional roles, reflected in her involvement with several local boards and initiatives.
As the newly appointed Ambassador Chair, Sanders will lead the Ambassadors in their mission to embody the spirit of volunteerism and community engagement. Recognized as the heart of the Natchitoches Area Chamber of Commerce, the Ambassadors play a vital role in the success of Chamber events and community initiatives.
