BPCC Offers One-Stop Registration Events for Prospective, Returning Students

Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) is offering multiple registration opportunities this spring and summer to assist current and prospective students with enrolling for upcoming academic terms. These events are designed to provide a convenient, one-stop registration experience, connecting students with admissions, financial aid, and academic advising resources.

The college will kick off its outreach efforts with BPCC On Location on Tuesday, April 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shreve Memorial Library – David Raines Branch, located at 2855 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in Shreveport. This community-based event, held in partnership with local organizations, brings the college enrollment process directly to prospective students. Attendees can meet with BPCC’s enrollment management team for personalized assistance with admissions applications, financial aid, and course registration.

BPCC will also host its Super Saturday registration event on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Building F (Admissions) on the Bossier campus. This event provides prospective and returning students the opportunity to complete the registration process in one visit, including enrolling in up to a full year of coursework. Faculty and staff will be available to assist with class registration, financial aid applications, and veteran benefits.

Prospective students are also invited to attend Preview Day on Friday, April 24, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the Bossier campus. Check-in will take place from 1 to 1:30 p.m. in Building C (Stephen W. Slaughter Theatre Lobby), followed by a welcome session at 1:30 p.m. Participants will meet members of the recruiting team, learn about admissions and financial aid, tour campus with a student ambassador, and connect with faculty, staff, and current students while exploring academic programs and student organizations. For more information about Preview Day, contact the Recruiting Office at 318-678-6033 or e-mail recruiting@bpcc.edu. Sign up to attend: https://forms.office.com/r/aXfh6MGqDM

Additional registration opportunities include Summer Registration Day on Wednesday, May 27 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all BPCC campuses in Bossier City, Natchitoches, and Sabine Valley. Fall on-campus registration will be held Wednesday, August 12, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all BPCC campuses.

BPCC’s academic calendar includes a three-week, online Maymester session beginning May 12. Summer classes begin May 28, and the Fall semester begins August 13. The final day to register for each session is the first day of class.
