BPCC Highlights Affordable Pathways to Degrees, Careers during Community College Week
Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) will celebrate Community College Week March 23–27 with a series of events designed to connect current and prospective students with educational and career opportunities across its campuses.

Community College Week highlights the value of Louisiana’s community and technical colleges by informing individuals of all ages about available programs, workforce pathways, and the career opportunities those programs can provide. Throughout the week, BPCC will host activities at its Bossier, Natchitoches, and Sabine Valley campuses, offering attendees the opportunity to explore academic programs, learn about the admissions process, and receive guidance on financial aid.

As part of the week’s events, BPCC will host open houses at each campus:
  • Bossier Campus Open House: Wednesday, March 25, from 3–7 p.m., Building F, First Floor
  • Natchitoches Campus Open House: Thursday, March 26, from 4–6 p.m.
  • Sabine Valley Campus Open House: Thursday, March 26, from 4–6 p.m.

In addition, the College will celebrate Maroon & Gold Day on Wednesday, March 25, encouraging students, faculty, and staff to show their Cavalier pride by wearing BPCC colors. Participants are invited to share photos on social media using #CCWeek26 and #BPCCproud.

BPCC is committed to delivering an accessible, student-centered experience where affordability, flexibility, and seamless transfer opportunities open pathways to success.

“At Bossier Parish Community College, we are committed to removing barriers and creating clear, attainable pathways for our students. Through affordable tuition, flexible scheduling, and strong transfer and workforce partnerships, we empower individuals to achieve their academic and career goals,” said BPCC Chancellor Dr. Rick Bateman, Jr. “Whether a student is taking their first step into higher education, gaining new skills to advance in the workforce, or preparing to transfer to a four-year institution, BPCC provides the support, resources, and opportunities needed to succeed. We are proud to serve our communities by meeting students where they are and helping them build a strong foundation for their future.”
