Legislative Appreciation Breakfast
This breakfast provided an opportunity to thank state leaders for their service and hear directly from legislators, cabinet members, and agency leaders about their work during the current legislative session and priorities impacting Natchitoches Parish and the state.
Committees in Action
Participants observed legislative committee meetings to see state government in action. A menu of committee meetings featuring members of the Natchitoches delegation was provided.
Cane River Calling Lunch Reception
This lunch reception celebrated Natchitoches’ culture and hospitality while creating space for connection and advocacy. Through food catered by Lasyone’s, music by the LaCour Trio Zydeco Band, and engaging visual elements, the event showcased the parish’s key assets and priorities across tourism, history and culture, infrastructure, business and industry, education, and healthcare.

Participants had the opportunity to witness formal recognition moments that highlighted Natchitoches Parish and strengthened statewide visibility for our community.
Capitol Tour
Participants had the opportunity to experience a brief guided tour of the Capitol, offering insight into the building’s history, architecture, and role in Louisiana’s legislative process.
